Perfect Matching Drivers

The drivers in the Mesa have been painstakingly researched and modelled for over two years.  We first tested drivers to identify those which would have a flat response curve within the desirable frequency range.  We then worked with hundreds of different combinations before arriving at the drivers in The Mesa.  We discovered the amazing clarity of Purifi Audio™ and use their 8” woofer in our cabinet.  Its richness and imaging with deep crisp bass have to be heard to be believed.  Combining the Purifi with a SB Acoustics™ beryllium dome tweeter with a ferrite magnet rather than a neodymium which tends to shriek provides a clear treble up to 20khz.  Finally, the dual ports on the front baffle were carefully calculated and designed allowing the Mesa to have a flat response curve from 30Hz to over 20khz, creating a full range speaker that exemplifies our philosophy of clarity, imaging, and dynamic range.
